Tim Page-Bottorff

SafeStart’s Tim Page-Bottorff, CSP, CET will add the NSC Distinguished Service to Safety Award to the long list of accolades he’s accomplished in the safety industry. Described by the National Safety Council as one of the most prestigious awards they give, the Distinguished Service to Safety Award recognizes outstanding contributions and service in safety. Page-Bottorff will receive the award during the opening session at the NSC Congress & Expo on October 22, 2018.

“To win a National Safety Council Award is a validation of the work done in safety inside and outside of the organization. Safety professionals focus on what needs to be changed and where improvements can be made to keep people safe. An award for safety success helps reinforce and promote what works,” said Michael Pollock, Vice President, Workplace Strategies and Partner Engagement, National Safety Council.

Page-Bottorff’s other accomplishments include the ASSP Edgar Monsanto Queeny Safety Professional of the Year Award for 2018-19, the Arizona Chapter ASSE Safety Professional of the Year 2014-15 and the ASSE Region II Safety Professional of the Year for 2013-14. He was also recognized by the NSC as one of their top 10 speakers for 2016.

In addition to being a Senior Safety Consultant for SafeStart, Page-Bottorff also serves as the Vice President for ASSP Region II and is the past president and a delegate for the Arizona Chapter ASSP Executive Board. He’s published articles in various industry magazines and he is a popular conference speaker who often has standing room only in his sessions.

Page-Bottorff has become the one to watch in safety—we can’t wait to see what he achieves next!
