About Brad

Serving as the Director of Safety and Plant Protection at Nucor, California Steel Industries, Inc., Brad has built a distinguished career since joining the company in 1985. Starting as a Product Inspector, Brad’s dedication led to his promotion to Safety Representative in 1992, followed by Safety Engineer in 1998. From 1999 to 2001, he contributed as a Human Resource Specialist before being promoted to Assistant Manager of Safety in 2002. In 2007, he advanced to Manager of Safety and Plant Protection, eventually attaining his current role.

Brad obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from National University in 1997 and holds several safety certifications that underscore his commitment to safety excellence. Brad is an active member and past chairperson of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST) Safety Committee and serves on the Don B. Daily Memorial Fund Committee Board.
