What’s Missing from Risk Assessments in Texas?

2018 Annual Safety & Health Conference

In a few weeks, Fort Worth, Texas will be the site of the 30th Annual Safety & Health Conference organized by the Region VI Voluntary Protection Program Participants’ Association. This event is open to non-members and because the conference is hosted by a volunteer organization, the costs of attending are low.

You’ll get high value from SafeStart’s Danny Smith’s presentation, The Missing Link in Risk Assessment. He will discuss the fact that many EHS professionals lack certain vital tools in their risk assessment toolbelt. By examining the role the “missing link” of human error has in overall risk, he will demonstrate how we can achieve improvements in the risk assessment process by accounting for these errors as a part of the overall evaluation.

The conference offers valuable educational opportunities from OSHA, TEEX, Gulf Coast Safety Institute and various other industry peer-taught courses and some inspiring speakers, with Danny Smith being one of them. Danny has over 25 years of EHS management experience and speaks in front of many audiences each year. His presenting style is relatable, informative and entertaining, making him a sought-after speaker, so make sure you don’t miss his session.

This 4-day event will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center with pre-conference courses available on April 30.
