Our very own Tim Page-Bottorff will receive the Board of Certified Safety Professionals CSP Award of Excellence for 2024. “The BCSP Awards of Excellence (AoE) recognize top BCSP certification holders who best represent certificants’ outstanding leadership and knowledgeable expertise.” The awards ceremony will be presented during BCSP’s Global Learning Summit, on May 7 at 5 p.m. (ET). It will also air on May 30 at 11 a.m. (ET) via YouTube Premiere.

“BCSP Awards of Excellence recognize not only expertise in the field but also a lasting impact on the profession,” said BCSP CEO Christy Uden, CAE, IOM. “The contributions of these award recipients transcend the industries in which they work and the jobs they do each day. They have not only found success in their individual roles but have influenced others to do the same.”

To Page-Bottorff’s credit, this isn’t the first time he has been recognized for his work in safety. In 2018-19, Tim was awarded the ASSP President’s Award—the current ASSP president recognizes individuals for special service to the Society during the president’s term.

Tim also received the NSC Distinguished Service to Safety Award in 2018—the most prestigious award given to individuals by the National Safety Council.

He was named the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) 2018 Edgar Monsanto Queeny Safety Professional of the Year, the Arizona Chapter ASSE Safety Professional of the Year 2014-15 and the ASSE Region II Safety Professional of the Year for 2013-14.

Page-Bottorff is a senior safety consultant with SafeStart where he serves as a thought leader and renowned speaker. He is currently the Director-At-Large with the ASSP. He also serves as a trustee of the ASSP Foundation. Page-Bottorff previously served as the ASSP’s Region II vice president, deputy vice president of the Council on Region Affairs (CORA) and member of the Finance Committee.
