Since the pandemic broke out and the future’s become so uncertain, it’s been hard to plan for anything. When we originally planned our SafeStart Human Factors Conference for February 2022, we envisioned the COVID recovery being further along than it is. We’ve been monitoring the current situation and based on expert predictions for 2022, we believe it is safest to host the conference in November rather than in February.

We are hopeful that travel restrictions, COVID exposure concerns and the stress that companies have been under due to the pandemic will be alleviated by our newly scheduled dates of November 8–9, 2022.  

The good news is that the other major details of the conference have remained unchanged. We will still be hosting the event at the beautiful Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South, our amazing keynote speaker, John O’Leary, will be sharing his story with us in November, and we expect our lineup of speakers will remain relatively unchanged with the new date (exact details will be updated as we confirm with all of the speakers).

As a safety company, we know how important it is to protect people. That’s why we decided to postpone our event. We put a longer timeline on our event to give us a clearer picture of what the world will look like. To everyone who attends: Your safety is important to us!
