He makes success sound easy

The SafeStart Forum is the place for human factors practitioners from the SafeStart community to exchange ideas and discuss human factors in safety with like-minded professionals in person this spring.

The event will be held April 23 and 24, 2024, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South in Florida, and it promises to deliver a lineup of speakers and content you can’t find anywhere else in a venue that lends itself to curated learning. To ensure you’re part of this one-of-a-kind event, SafeStart has announced that early-bird registration pricing is available for the SafeStart Forum until November 3, 2023 (price increases after this date).

What to Expect

The SafeStart Forum will present two days of conference keynotes and 25–30 concurrent sessions from subject matter experts in a few different categories under the human factors umbrella. There will also be new SafeStart-specific sessions to help clients overcome challenges, sustain their progress and inspire what’s next on their SafeStart journey.

You can also benefit from four different panel discussions from industry thought leaders and enjoy unique lunches with theme-focused topics, and engage in numerous networking opportunities with SafeStart clients, trainers, staff, and consultants.

Featured Speakers
  • SafeStart Author/Founder Larry Wilson will kick off the event with the opening address.
  • Mike Abrashoff, former Commander, USS Benfold and New York Times best-selling author, has been confirmed as the day-one keynote speaker.
  • Cristian Sylvestre, Managing Director of HabitSafe and author of Third Generation Safety: The Missing Piece, has been confirmed as the day-two keynote speaker.
