Don Wilson Reducing SIFs at EHS Today Safety Leadership Conference

Attendees at a workshop

EHS Today’s Safety Leadership Conference is a chance for safety professionals, managers and business leaders to share best practices in an effort to help their organizations achieve world-class safety. Among the engaging speakers at the event is Don Wilson, who will lead a workshop session entitled Reducing Serious Injuries & Fatalities: Three Approaches & Their Effectiveness on November 6 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

The workshop addresses a disturbing trend in safety—the fact that serious injuries and fatalities have been declining at a much slower rate than overall injury rates. Don will look at three different approaches for improving an organization’s most important safety performance metric.

The conference runs from November 6–8 at the Hyatt Regency Louisville in Kentucky. In addition to providing an environment that allows for debate, learning, and collaboration, the event also gives attendees an opportunity to celebrate this year’s America’s Safest Companies. The awards ceremony will take place in the evening on November 7.

Attendees have an opportunity to meet and network with key industry leaders, improve their knowledge of new safety technology, learn how to implement new ideas in their workplaces, and acquire OSHA compliance guidance. For those hoping to learn about transformational safety leadership and best practices, this conference is the place to be. If you have a chance to attend, don’t miss Don’s workshop—and say hello to us at the SafeStart sponsor table (table #15).
