Devron Kelso, or just Kelso, has worked at SNF Chemtall in Riceboro, GA for 10 years and is currently a Safety and Training Supervisor. Kelso started as an operator and moved his way up to “Safety Operator” after three years. This role was a new position in production that was created with the goal of serving as a liaison between management and operations. After two years of serving as a safety operator, Kelso was promoted to the salaried position of Safety and Training Supervisor. This mantle allowed Kelso to continue his unique take on training while also allowing him to flex his creativity with video production and content creation.

Kelso’s presentation is titled “Guerilla Marketing: An Unconventional Approach to Promoting Safety”, the story of how a guy with a camera and a little creativity helped nurture a positive safety climate.
