SafeStart’s Women in Safety

Women presenter on virtual session

SafeStart is proud to sponsor the 2021 Women in Safety Conference, which is taking place virtually on December 2. With a focus on strengthening and celebrating the careers of women in the EHS profession, this year’s conference promises a wide-ranging discussion on pressing issues in the safety industry.

The one-day conference’s opening keynote will examine the role of leadership at every level, discussing how to foster a positive environment for women in safety, and how to be a leader and influence workplace culture no matter what role you hold in an organization. The following speakers will touch on a host of issues that will be of interest to safety professionals, from PPE and the pandemic to mental health and change management.

Add in the pre-conference workshop on building a resilient safety culture, and the ability to network with colleagues, vendors and other safety professionals and the Women in Safety Conference looks to be a day full of learning and connecting with others in the safety industry.

This conference is also one that has special relevance for us. SafeStart is proud to include several women on our senior management team, including our CEO Barb Tait; Pandora Bryce, Vice-President, Product Development; Kelley Norris, Vice-President, Implementation Services; and Lara Russell, Vice-President, Sales, who will be at our virtual booth for the event.

You don’t want to miss this conference—be sure to reserve your spot if you haven’t already, check out some of the amazing speakers on the day’s agenda, and between sessions make sure you stop by our virtual booth!
