SafeStart Announces Second Human Factors Conference

Presenter at a conference

SafeStart Human Factors Conference Postponed

Next February (now November), SafeStart will be hosting their second SafeStart Human Factors Conference—the first-ever conference designed by and for those in the human factors industry who want to benchmark data, explore innovations and share best practices. The conference will be held on February November 8 and 9, 2022, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South.

The keynote speaker is an inspirational one—at the age of nine, John O’Leary suffered burns on 100% of his body and was given less than a 1% chance of survival. His story of recovery is amazing but it’s his outlook on life that is truly remarkable. John became an internationally acclaimed speaker and bestselling author by inspiring others with his emotional story and unexpected humor.  He touches on employee engagement, culture and communication and meets the organizational objectives you’re looking for from a keynote speaker.

What to expect

Since human factors apply in every industry, this conference is the perfect venue for trainers, safety staff, leaders and steering committee members to learn from thought leaders and subject matter experts.

There will be two days of keynotes and concurrent learning sessions. Attendees will have a chance to participate in sessions covering topics including:

  • Human factors management evolution
  • Serious injuries and fatalities
  • Human and organizational performance
  • Culture
  • Employee engagement
  • Leadership

The full agenda and more detailed information will be published as soon as it becomes available. Register now so you don’t miss out!
