Sophie is a strategic advisor and has been an occupational health and safety compliance management specialist for over 18 years, the majority of that time spent in heavy industry and unionized manufacturing. She served as a corporate health and safety manager, overseeing multiple sites across Canada and the United States.
Sophie applies strategic vision to help people recognize and manage human factors that influence safety and performance. In previous positions, she developed compliance processes, risk management, established a process review plan and organized a gap analysis in collaboration with multidisciplinary stakeholders. She has the ability to consolidate work and support consistency, situational awareness, and effective execution.
Sophie holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from Université Laval. She’s a member of the Ordre des CRHA et CRIA du Qc as a Certified Industrial Relations Counsellor and is a SafeStart-certified consultant.
