SafeStart’s Got Talent!

The VPPPA has announced the finalists of its VPPPA’s Got Talent competition and SafeStart’s Nancy Ivers is one of the five remaining competitors.

Each contestant recorded their own rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner and the videos have been posted to the VPPPA’s YouTube page. Whichever singer receives the most votes by February 23 will get to sing the national anthem during the opening session of the upcoming VPPPA Safety & Health Conference.

Here is Nancy’s submission:

You can vote for Nancy by clicking the thumbs-up icon (you’ll need a YouTube account first).

Nancy’s submission was recorded in front of 4,100 people before an Iowa Cubs home game. The team is the Chicago Cubs’ Triple-A affiliate and Nancy might just be their good luck charm, because the Cubs won the game 6-1.
