Safety consultant Joe Tantarelli will be conducting one of nine concurrent sessions of section three at the Midwest’s largest occupational safety and health conference.

His session, from 2:45 p.m.–3:45 p.m. on March 1, is Buried Alive: A Survivor’s Story. Joe will share his personal recollection of how complacency, fatigue and other conditions lead to making errors with very serious consequences. He’ll talk about the impact that workplace incidents have on family, friends and co-workers, and he’ll also discuss the simple safety skills that can be applied to avoid future injuries like the ones that happened to him.
