Human Factors Safety Process Reduces Injuries by 75 Percent: A CR Meyer Case Study

99th Annual AGC Convention

This February, the Associated General Contractors of America are organizing their 99th Annual Convention, with three days of fascinating sessions, awards, exhibits, networking opportunities and even a golf tournament.

CR Meyer’s Corporate Safety Trainer John Groff and SafeStart’s Vice President Don Wilson—an expert in employee engagement and safety culture—will present a session entitled Human Factors Safety Process Reduces Injuries by 75% – A CR Meyer Case Study. They will discuss how CR Meyer managed to convince the unionized workers to give the human factors process a chance and achieve such a staggering result in safety. This session will be presented twice: once during the preconference on February 25 at 2.15 p.m. and again on February 27 at 9 a.m.

The AGC Convention will be held from February 26–28 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans hotel and in celebrating 100 years of construction it will provide its attendees with plenty of opportunities for learning, networking and growth.
